It will be in an exhibition to be held at the headquarters of the Sierpes 11 al 19 February and it will be done a tour of some parts of the trousseau of the Corporation and will help meet living history of brotherhood.

The Civil War was key to this brotherhood of Seville Madrugá. On the night of 18 July 1936 Parish of San Román it was engulfed in flames and the Holders of the Brotherhood along with the rest of its assets disappeared in the fire. Only two textile pieces were saved: saya garnet of Our Lady of Sorrows, embroidered on 1893 by Rodriguez Ojeda and the original cingulate Lord Tunic Health Montes de Oca.

Both pieces will be exhibited in the exhibition is titled “Stitches memory” and will be open from 11 al 19 February in the Commercial and Industrial Circle Sevilla.

The exhibition will tour the history of the brotherhood before and after the Civil War, through some artistic pieces being the link the new tunic of the Lord of Health is a reproduction of assigned Rodriguez Ojeda lost in the events of 36 and it has been executed by the workshop of the Successors of Elena Caro

 

Among the pieces to be exhibited after the Civil War are two sayas of Our Lady of Sorrows and a tunic of the Lord, all work Workshop Caro which this year celebrates its centenary.
