Timetable, routes and itineraries of the transfers and procession of the Lord of the Great Power

The Pontifical and Royal Brotherhood and Brotherhood of Nazarenes of Nuestro Padre Jesús del Gran Poder and María Santísima del Mayor Dolor y Traspaso will celebrate Holy Evangelizing Mission in the Parishes of Blanca Paloma, Our Lady of Candelaria and Santa Teresa, presided over by the Sacred Image of Jesus of the Great Power, after obtaining the mandatory authorization of the ecclesiastical authority.

The accomplishment of the Holy Mission responds to the missionary vocation of the Brotherhood and is celebrated on the occasion of the commemoration of the fourth centenary of the delivery by the famous image maker Juan de Mesa y Velasco to the Brotherhood of the Sacred Image of Nuestro Padre Jesús del Gran Power and the beginning of his secular devotion; planned for the year 2020, it had to be suspended due to the incidence of the covid-19 pandemic.

For this, the Sacred Image will be transferred in the morning of the next 16 October, Saturday, to the Parish of Blanca Paloma, where it will remain until the day 23 of the same month, day that will be transferred to the Parish of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria and after the same period, the day 30 October will march to the Parish of Santa Teresa, in which you will receive worship for a week.

In the afternoon of the day 5 November the Lord will be transferred from the Parish of Santa Teresa to the SMPI Cathedral of Seville. On Saturday 6 November at 11.00 hs, will be celebrated in the first Temple of the Archdiocese Solemn Seasonal Mass, chaired by HE. and Rvdmo. Sr. Archbishop of Seville, Mons. The size of Meneses, in thanksgiving for the fruits of the Mission and as a culmination of the acts of commemoration of the IV centenary of its making.

The same day 6 November 2021, The Sacred Image of Our Father Jesus of the Great Power will be transferred in procession back to its Basilica

The Transfers of the Sacred Image will be made in litters, carried by brothers and devotees; the procession back from the SMPI Cathedral to its Basilica will take place in its processional step.
