Itinerary transfers from María Santísima de las Angustias – Gypsies, Sevilla 27 October 2023

As already announced, María Santísima de las Angustias will preside over the opening Flamenco Mass of the First National Congress of the Gypsy Brotherhoods of Seville that will take place next 27 of October in the Seville Cathedral and which will be officiated by D.M., by the Hon.. Archbishop of Seville Monsignor, José Ángel Saiz Meneses.

In this way, The government deputation team reports on the itinerary that will be followed for round-trip transfers to María Santísima de las Angustias.

ONE WAY TRANSFER TO THE CATHEDRAL

On the transfer to the Cathedral, whose pilgrimage will be made by praying the Holy Rosary accompanied by a choir of liturgical songs, The procession will be made up of 150 brothers with a candle and the representation of the different Brotherhoods of Gypsies from all over Spain that participate in this first Congress.

So, The planned itinerary will be as follows:

Departure on 16 hours from the Sanctuary passing through Plaza Señor de la Salud, Valley Street, Pious schools, Almirante Apodaca, Plaza Cristo de Burgos, Sales and Ferrer, Odreros, Christ of the Three Falls, Cuesta del Rosario, Franks, Argote de Molina, German, Plaza Virgen de los Reyes, Puerta de los Palos and Cathedral, The arrival is scheduled around 19:15 hours.

TRANSFER BACK TO THE SANCTUARY

On the return to our Sanctuary, which will take place once the Flamenco Mass is over, planned around the 22:30 hours, The Virgin of Angustias will be accompanied musically by the Las Nieves Band and without a procession.

The planned route is:

Exit from the Cathedral through Puerta de los Palos, German, Hernando Colón, Plaza de San Francisco, Sierpes, Bell, Laraña, Image, Doña María Coronel, Gerona, Third Square, Sol, Plaza de San Román, Matahacas, Pinto, Valle, Plaza Jesús de la Salud, and entry into the Sanctuary.
